We don’t know how long this lasts. Usually these things vanish by dinner time. But right now? It’s gone. $379 at Amazon as of May 15. That’s $170 off.

The recent ban on foreign drones didn’t touch this stock. It’s unaffected. Which is great if you’re still trying to fly something from China. Because here it is. The DJI Mini 3 at its best ever price.

Why care? Weight matters. It comes in under 249 grams.

This tiny number means you don’t need FAA registration. Or Remote ID. If you fly just for fun, you can skip the paperwork entirely. That’s a lot less red tape for a box that fits in your backpack.

“It doesn’t require FAA registration or Remote ID for recreatorial flying.”

It records 4K HDR. Uses Dual Native ISO Fusion. Makes videos look better in bad light. It also supports true vertical shooting. Because TikTok exists. And we are what we are.

The build feels solid. Three-axis mechanical gimbal. Keeps everything steady when the wind picks up. Level 5 resistance? Sure. Handles 38 kph gusts. Brushless motors get it airborne from up to 4,001 meters high. Wait. 4,000. Close enough.

You can transmit video from ten kilometers away. Ten whole kilometers. Your footage isn’t just going into a void.

Battery life? Standard 38 minutes. Add the Plus battery (you have to buy that separately) and you stretch it to 51 minutes. Is 51 enough? Maybe not. But it’s more than most rivals offer at this tier.

Did we mention it’s $379?

Most people won’t notice the drop. They’re probably sleeping. Or arguing with partners. Or staring at phones. You could be flying.

Stock changes fast. Prices wiggle. Amazon updates listings like they’re living things. Which they aren’t. But close enough.

Don’t wait until the sale slips. Then come crying here. I’m not writing a sympathy piece for missed deals. I’ve got half a dozen other gadgets to cover before sunset.

The drone won’t fly itself though.
