TV deals that don’t suck (Memorial Day 2026)

17

You’re expecting mattress sales. Maybe a grill on discount. But your TV? That’s the real hidden gem this weekend. CES 2026 models are actually in stores now. And some are already cheaper than they should be.

Last-year’s tech is getting shoved aside to make room. Hisense, Samsung, LG—every brand is slashing prices. Big screens, small screens. Doesn’t matter. There’s a deal.

I’m watching the list closely. Keep this tab open if you want that specific model before someone else grabs it.

The headline deal

Hisense U6 Pro.

It’s new for 2026. It sits right in that sweet spot between “affordable” and “holy crap that looks good.” Mini-LED backlights. Quantum-dot colors. AI processing. 1,200-nit brightness. 144Hz refresh. Dolby Atmos built in. Hisense says it’s how you get a premium feel without paying the premium tax. They aren’t lying.

The 75-inch version dropped twice in a month. Again. Just today.

“Step into a premium experience without moving up a price tier.”

That’s the pitch. And at this price? It holds water.

The art that isn’t a TV

Unless you look closely.

Hisense updated their Canvas TV for this year. Hi-QLED screen. AI sensor that watches your room. Brightness shifts. Color temperature adjusts. It knows when you walk in. Turns on. You leave. It fades to save juice.

Still has the matte finish. Teak frame. Digital art library so you can pretend you own modernist decor instead of electronics. The 65-inch version is $900 less on Amazon and Best Buy. Steep cut.

The rest of the rack

Breaks by size. Because why not.

Small stuff (43-50 inches)

  • Hisense 43-inch E5 Cinema QLED 4k. $210 (was $350). Save $140.
  • Amazon 43-inch Ember Qled. $270 (was $330).
  • Amazon 50-inch Qled. $420 (was $480).
  • Hisense 50-inch S5 Canvas Qled. $800 (was $1,300). A five-hundred dollar drop is not small change.

Mid-tier (55 inches)

This is where most people buy. Here’s the meat:

  • Insignia F50 LED. $200 (was $350 Cheap enough for a second screen).
  • Hisense E6 Cinema Qled. $280 (was $430).
  • Hisense U5 Mini-led. $400 (was $800. Half off).
  • Hisense U6 Pro. $600 (was $850).
  • LG B5 Oled. $800 Oled at eight hundred? Last I checked. $1,500 down. That’s $700 back in your pocket.

The big screens (65+ inches)

  • LG 70A Qned. $430 (was $580).
  • Hisense U5 65-inch. $550 (was $1000. You basically pay half).
  • Samsung Q8f. $598 (was $900).
  • Hisense U6 Pro 65-inch. $730 (was $1100).
  • Hisense U7. $950 (was $1500). $550 saved.
  • Samsung S95 Oled. $2200 (was $2600). Four hundred off is nothing when you’re spending two grand.
  • Sony Bravia 5 Ii. $2,590 (was $3,300). Seven hundred off. Sony prices sting anyway.

75 inches and above? Scroll down on the retailer site. Prices move fast. Some vanish. Others drop another $100 at midnight.

Do you need the new one? Probably not.

Old models are cheap enough that you could buy two. Watch Netflix in the living room and gaming in the den.

The clock ticks.
