Fubo TV users have a reason to celebrate today. The black hole of missing content is closing. NBCUniversal networks are back. This includes heavy hitters like Telemundo, Bravo, and eventually, the core NBC lineup. It has been a rough few months since November when the two parties stopped talking. Negotiations collapsed. The channels vanished. Now, on Wednesday, they announced a deal.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return… given their robust portfolio,” says Todd Mathers at Fubo.
The timing feels less like coincidence and more like calculation. This happens right before the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Telemundo and Universo will carry the Spanish-language feed. Those viewers needed the signal yesterday. But you won’t get the full menu today. English-language giants like NBCSN and Bravo arrive in the coming weeks. Regional sports networks and new FAST channels join them later too.
Why did it take so long? Money. Distribution deals are brutal. When they break, streamers usually try to soften the blow with discounts. Fubo lowered prices on its Pro and Elite plans during the blackout. Subscribers stayed because they got a deal, even with the hole in the channel line-up.
Does Fubo plan to raise those prices now that the channels are back? Unclear. The company hasn’t said. The discounted rates are still active. You might be able to ride that wave for a bit longer.
The dispute started last fall. NBC pulled its plugs. Fubo absorbed the hit. Now, they are sharing the table again. For cord-cutters chasing live sports and prime-time drama, this fixes the immediate gap. Whether it fixes the price issue remains an open question.
How to access restored NBC networks on Fubo TV
If you missed the announcement, here is what happens next. You do not need to reinstall anything. Just log in. Telemundo works immediately. So does Universo.
Patience is required for the rest. Bravo and standard NBC channels come “in the coming weeks.” So do the sports-specific feeds like NBC Sports Network. If you were waiting for your local regional sports network, that comes with the broader rollout too.
Why did Fubo remove NBC channels in the first place?
Carriage disputes are standard industry noise, but painful for users. The breakdown happened because a new distribution contract could not be finalized. When talks stall, networks pull out. Streaming services lose content. Customers get angry. Fubo tried to manage the anger with cheaper subscription tiers.
This is how the game is played now. Everyone waits for the other side to blink. Eventually, they blink together. Or at least, they agree on the number.
Will your bill go up when the new month hits? Only time will tell. The discounts are there right now. That is something.
